Handicap student faces many hurdles & hardships in their life, but they have hope for the better future. So the Astitva Is hope for Intellectual disabled and deaf and mute students from last 42 years.
As per our record 22 intellectual disabled students are working in various private sectors after completing their training from Astitva School. Our 3 intellectual disabled students are married and settled their life successfully.
We are proudly said that our 58 Deaf and mute students (as per our record) are doing well in there carrier some are working in private offices and some are government servant and some are started their own business also 17 students (as per our record) are married and settled in their life.
The students who completed 18 years of the age they have to take admission in sheltered workshop as per government rule. Ours is only one sheltered workshop is in thane district we give vocational training so they earn marginally. From sheltered workshop 15 students are working in private sector after completed their training from here.
